District Congress Committee (DCC) Mon has strongly condemned the brutal murder of John Konyak of Longwa village by a group of persons at Phomching town in Mon district on March 8. Its president L Takyong Konyak said such brutal act does not find place in Konyak society in the present age of peace and tranquility. DCC (I) Mon has urged the law enforcing agency to take appropriate action against the guilty as per the law and also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family.
