As per the Supreme Court directives, S.P Mon N.I Sangtam has informed all vehicle owners, including VIPs and Govt. vehicles within Mon district to voluntarily remove tinted glass from their respective vehicle windows within 15 days. S.P warned that violators would be penalized as per law and on the spot and removal of the film would be carried out accordingly. However, as per the directives from the court, Z plus Z category security protected would be exempted in using tinted glass for security reason, stated Mon S.P.
