Community hall cum library at S/Chingnyu inaugurated

Community hall cum library at S/Chingnyu village constructed under BRGF was inaugurated by EE Pangteang, advisor DUDA, Government of Nagaland on January 14. 

Pangteang lauded the RD Block Phomching officials and the S/Chingyu villagers for successful completion of the building. He urged the villagers to make proper use of the infrastructure provided by the government for the development of the community. He further advised the villagers not to solely depend on the government for any purpose, but to be creative in devising other means for proper growth and development of the village.
Village council, church, VDB and student community should cooperate and remain united for the development of the village and keep up the team spirit, added Pangteang. He further emphasised on the proper road connectivity which is the lifeline of the community.

The programme was chaired by TN Ganpong, village council secretary while pastor of S/Chingnyu Baptist Church invoked God’s blessing. Welcome address and song were presented by Aloh Ngowang, chief angh and students union respectively. Y. Wangchung gave a brief report o the construction of the building. Short speeches were delivered by BDO Phomching and president Mon district VDB Association.
