Loud noises banned in view of examinations

In view of the selection and final examinations in all schools, college and universities, deputy commissioner Kohima, W. Honje Konyak has notified all organizations/hotels and restaurants and public in Kohima not to use loudspeakers/loud music system during the examination period to avoid disturbance/nuisance in the public places.The deputy commissioner in a statement said stern action would be initiated against defaulters as per the provision of the law adding that this order would come into force with immediate effect.
